Impact of knowledge on smokers' beliefs about alternative nicotine products

Published: 26 November 2008

The School of Psychology, Psychiatry and Psychological Medicine in collaboration with The Cancer Council Victoria is conducting a study to look at what smokers know and think about alternatives to cigarettes.

We need smokers who are:

  • Aged 18 or over
  • Smoking 10 or more cigarettes a day.

Participation involves completing an initial survey online, reading some information about tobacco and related products, then completing a second survey a week after that. In some cases, a third survey will be required one month after the second survey.

Visit the Vic Health Centre for tobacco control web page to participate, or for more information, contact May Wong May.Wong@med.monash.edu.au.
