Education Without Borders Conference -- Student delegates needed -- DubaiPublished: 19 November 2008 Education Without Borders is a biennial international student conference that creates networks across cultures in order to understand and generate solutions for some of the world's greatest challenges. The conference presents a fantastic opportunity for students to actively participate in discussions on the topic: Innovative Solutions to Global Challenges, focusing on such themes as technology, sustainability, education and humanitarianism. Previous speakers include 2006 Nobel Peace Prize recipient Professor Muhammad Yunus; Pulitzer Prize winning journalist Kevin Sullivan; and German Physicist Johannes Georg Bednorz. When: 29 March to 1 April 2009 The Office of the Deputy Vice Chancellor (International) strongly encourages you to apply to participate in the conference. Accommodation is covered by the organising committee and there are a number of travel scholarships available to students who submit high standard papers (due 30 November 2008).
