Social sustainability in UK and Europe -- Clayton

Learn more about social sustainability in UK and Europe from Karen Lucas who is in Australia, guest of the Department of Transport, Victorian Government.

Karen Lucas has recently joined the Transport Studies Unit, Oxford University. Prior to this she was the research coordinator for the Centre for Sustainable Development and a principal research fellow in the Transport Studies Group at the University of Westminster, London. Karen is a co-author in two important studies: one which explores the links between the social and environmental pillars of sustainable development, particularly the link between social cohesion, inclusion and environmental policies, and the second is titled: 'Promoting Pro-Environmental Behaviour', a study undertaken for the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, UK.
