Gippsland Medical School Inaugural Annual Medical Education Symposium

This symposium will offer participants the opportunity to share ideas and expertise around important areas in medical education. The symposium will focus on Community Based Education in Medicine.

Goals of Symposium:

• Promote opportunities for participants to share their experiences and initiatives in community based education
• Explore ways of determining and evaluating the outcomes of community based medical education
• Identify opportunities for broadening the scope of community involvement in medical education.

There is no registration fee for the symposium. Participants will be expected to fund travel and accommodation.

Date: 20 to 21 March, 2009
Venue: Gippsland Medical School, Northways Road, Churchill, Victoria, Australia 3842
Accommodation: Century Inn, Princes Highway, Traralgon
