Young driver research

Published: 12 November 2008

If you are interested in receiving a free copy of the booklet and providing feedback, research is being conducted by the Monash University Accident Research Centre to evaluate a new road-safety resource for parents of young drivers.

Drivers are needed who:

  • Are aged between 18 and 25 years
  • Hold a Victorian probationary licence (red P-plates)
  • Currently living with at least one parent.

The parents of the aforementioned drivers are also required to participate in the study.

Participation involves the completion of three self-administered questionnaires, over a period of two to three months. Each questionnaire will take 20 to 25 minutes to complete.

As this is a student project, participants will not be financially reimbursed (sorry). However, anyone who does agree to participate in the study will be eternally loved by the student researcher.
