Keynote speaker: Associate Federation Fellow Professor Amanda Lynch

'The Common Interest: The Role of Democracy in Addressing Climate Change'

Amanda is an internationally recognised climate science expert but has recently focused also on bridging the gap between natural science and the social sciences and humanities to better address the challenges of climate change mitigation and adaptation.

The talk will be followed by an open forum discussion on the mechanisms that must be put in place to allow Monash staff across all disciplines to respond to the challenge of climate change in an integrated and collaborative manner.
