Civil servant, teacher, researcher and consultant, Dr. Kamal Siddiqui studied at the Universities of Dhaka, Leeds and London. He has published a large number of books and articles on poverty alleviation, governance, urban sociology, child rights and bio-diversity. At present, he teaches diplomacy, contemporary world and international organizations in the Department of Management at Monash University.
