Understanding Stuttering Using Brain Imaging

Published: 8 October 2008

Researchers in Melbourne are embarking on a new project investigating the causes of stuttering. We require participants aged between 7 and 18 years who stutter, who used to stutter or who have never stuttered. Participation will involve language and cognitive assessments and an MRI scan. Parents of children participating will need to accompany their child to Royal Children's Hospital and complete a short questionnaire.

Eligibility: Children aged 7-18 years old, healthy controls and participants needed
