Research challenges in Bioinformatics -- ParkvillePublished: 1 October 2008 These talks bring together researchers, practitioners and students to discuss challenges in the application of computational techniques in the field of bioinformatics to solve problems in life sciences. Professor Haruki Nakamura (Osaka University, Japan), Associate Professor Ram Samudrala, (University of Washington , US), and Professor David Sankoff (University of Ottawa , Canada) will briefly present the research activities of their group and discuss the current challenges in bioinformatics research.
