The Monash Philharmonic Music Festival

The Monash Philharmonic Music Festival is taking Melbourne's community musicians out of the church and scout halls for one spectacular day of non-stop music, as part of a festival that aims to unite the often-overlooked community bands and orchestras of Melbourne. Saturday October 4, 2008 will see over 200 community musicians, from classical orchestras to swinging jazz bands, take to the multiple stages in Monash University's Performing Arts Precinct

Tickets: Tickets cost $20 adults/$15 concession/ $5 children, and can be purchased on the day.
Time:Starting at 10 am, performances start on the hour, every hour.
Date: Saturday 4 October, 2008
