The John Lennon Play: In His Own Write By John Lennon and Victor Spinetti

1950. Liverpool. It's time for John Lennon to grow up.

With a family who do little more than drink tea, in an oppressively mundane world, Lennon's imagination runs wild; over-powering his dismal post-war surroundings and shaping them to his own fantastical version of reality. It is a playful, moving tribute to childhood, the imagination and to the mind of a brilliant and enigmatic artist.
