Intervention Mapping: Developing theory- and evidence-based programs for health promotion and public health -- MelbournePublished: 17 September 2008 Monash University's School of Public Health and Preventive Medicine and the Murdoch Children's Research Institute (MCRI) are jointly hosting Professor Guy Parcel. Professor Parcel will conducted a three-day short course on a novel approach (Intervention Mapping) to the development, implementation and evaluation of state-of-the-art public health and health promotion interventions. Intervention Mapping (IM) offers a step-by-step program to make theory practical and to create effective public health and health promotion interventions, using the best information from the behavioural and social sciences.
