Timor-Leste Textiles Exhibition and Forum

Proudly sponsored by Monash University, the Timor-Leste Textile Exhibition is being held during the month of September 2008 in Melbourne at The Gallery, St Kilda Town Hall.

Date: Launches on Friday 5 September at 6 pm and runs until Tuesday 30 September.
Venue: at the new St Kilda Town Hall and The Gallery 99A Carlisle Street, St Kilda.

Forum

The day-long Forum on Saturday 6 September at 10.30 am, will discuss in detail the meaning of the textiles in Timorese culture and the challenges facing the handcrafts industry there and how people here can assist with marketing.
