Online Survey for HDR SupervisorsPublished: 6 August 2008 The Monash Research Graduate School encourages all HDR Supervisors to complete an online survey about supervision of research students. The survey is being conducted as part of a project entitled 'Building Research Supervision and Training in Australian and New Zealand Universities'. The overall aim of the project is to improve research education. To this end, the survey will ask your views and advise on supervision of research students and on supervisor development. The project has been funded by The Australian Learning and Teaching Council (formerly the Carrick Institute) and is being undertaken by Assoc Professor Jennifer Hammond, Professor Mark Tennant, Professor David Boud and Dr Kevin Ryland, from the Faculty of Education at the University of Technology, Sydney. This is an important project that will make recommendations to universities regarding future directions of research education and higher degree research supervision training. Your contribution will be of great value to the research team, and I would encourage you to take the time to complete this survey. It is anticipated that the survey will take about 20 minutes. You can complete and save sections of the survey if you wish to return to it later. If you are interested in participating please complete the online survey. For further information please contact: |
