Monash Undergraduate Research Projects Abroad (MURPA)Published: 6 August 2008 Monash undergraduate students studying computer science, software engineering or related areas can now undertake an eight-week summer semester international research project at the prestigious University of California, San Diego (UCSD). Up to five Monash Students who have completed at least 24 points of their third year computer science or software engineering units will be awarded a Monash Undergraduate Research Projects Abroad or MURPA package, giving them the opportunity to work with world-renowned Monash and UCSD professors on cutting edge research projects. Potential MURPA students will have the chance to meet with UCSD professors during a seminar series at Monash in semester two this year.
