Workshop P: Teaching Linguistically Diverse Groups -- ClaytonPublished: 16 July 2008 The Centre for Medical and Health Sciences Education (CMHSE) is now offering a range of staff development workshops for clinical teachers from all areas of health professional education. This workshop outlines some of the language and cultural factors affecting clinical teaching and learning in multicultural groups, and introduces practical strategies for teaching students from non-English speaking language backgrounds. Principles and approaches learned in this workshop can be applied more widely to a range of teaching contexts. The workshop focuses on:
