Vice-Chancellor's Award for Excellence in Research by Early Career ResearchersPublished: 16 July 2008 Nominations close: Friday 18th July, 2008 In order to recognise, reward and encourage excellent early career researchers (ECR) at Monash University, the Vice-Chancellor Professor Richard Larkins is pleased to introduce the Monash University Vice-Chancellor's Award for Excellence in Research by Early Career Researchers. The Award will recognise research excellence by early career researchers who are within ten years of the start of their research careers when they submit their applications. Benefits Each award will consist of a medallion and a grant of A$10,000 to be used at the discretion of the award winner to further his or her research interests (see Terms of the Award below). Number of Awards One award will be made each year. An award will only be made in any year if there is at least one application of sufficient merit.
