Pre-term Birth -- causes and consequences -- ClaytonPublished: 2 July 2008 The Monash University Healthy Start to Life Research Initiative presents a symposium on pre-term birth featuring Professor Roger Smith from the Mothers and Babies Research Centre, John Hunter Hospital, The University of Newcastle, as well as prominent Monash University researchers, A/Prof Helena Parkington, Dr Suzie Miller and Dr Tim Moss. This symposium will highlight the causes of pre-term birth, as well as the immediate and long-term consequences for the health of the individual.
