Vice-Chancellor's Awards for Exceptional Performance

Nominations are now invited for the Vice-Chancellor's Awards for Exceptional Performance by Professional Staff 2008.

Work teams or individuals, who have demonstrated exceptional performance for at least a three-year period, may be nominated either by the head of their administrative unit or by a staff member outside the department or area in which they work.

The annual awards recognise the contributions of general staff exceeding the normal requirements of their positions and are equivalent to the Vice-Chancellor's awards for distinguished teaching.

A total of $20,000 will be distributed among the award winners, whose achievements will be recognised formally at a presentation by the Vice-Chancellor and President.

Closing date for nominations is Friday, 12 September 2008. Details of eligibility criteria and the nomination process are available at the Staff Development website.
