Published: 18 June 2008

Your participation will take about 4 hours over 2 consecutive days involving:

  • Ultrasound based assessment of blood vessel health
  • Blood tests (including fasting sugar and cholesterol)
  • Blood pressure monitor worn overnight, and
  • A small skin biopsy of the buttock, to examine directly the health and function of the small blood vessels compared to the other tests.
