Music and language research study

Published: 4 June 2008

We are currently recruiting participants for a project looking at what parts of the brain are important for singing and speaking. In order to test this we will use a technique called transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS). This safe technique can be used to disrupt the activity in specific areas of the brain of healthy adults for a brief period of time.

We are looking for healthy people who are right-handed, have little to no musical training and can carry a tune!

If you'd like to hear more about our project, or would like to volunteer to participate, please contact Ms. Rebecca Sussex on rebecca.sussex@gmail.com or on +61 3 9594 5543.
