Published: 4 June 2008

Volunteers Wanted : For a short term study into the effects of IVF hormone treatment on women's emotions.

Eligible participants are females, aged 25 to 45 years who are about to begin a new cycle of IVF treatment.

Participants will be asked to complete a set of questionnaires about their emotional state on three occasions:

  • Before beginning hormone treatment.
  • Toward the end of a treatment cycle.
  • After the completion of a treatment cycle.

Each questionnaire takes approximately 15 to 25 minutes to complete.

With more information concerning the effects of IVF treatment on women's emotions, relevant support services can be improved.
