Screening test for heart failurePublished: 4 June 2008 Are you 60 years or older and have one or more of the following?
The Centre for Cardiovascular Research and Education in Therapeutics (CCRE Therapeutics) at Caulfield Hospital, is currently conducting a screening program which aims to detect, via a simple blood test, heart failure very early -- even before a person starts to feel unwell. At the same time, the program will ensure anyone found to have this condition will receive information and guidance about prevention and early treatment. For further information, please contact Louise Shiel. |
