Are you 60 years or older and have one or more of the following?

  • Had a heart attack
  • Have heart disease
  • Had a stoke
  • Have an irregular and/or rapid heart beat
  • On treatment for high blood pressure and/or Diabetes for the last 2 years or more

The Centre for Cardiovascular Research and Education in Therapeutics (CCRE Therapeutics) at Caulfield Hospital, is currently conducting a screening program which aims to detect, via a simple blood test, heart failure very early -- even before a person starts to feel unwell. At the same time, the program will ensure anyone found to have this condition will receive information and guidance about prevention and early treatment.
