Feminism. Being a feminist. What do these mean for young women in Australia today?

Published: 4 June 2008

This study will examine how young Australian women (female Monash undergraduate students) understand feminism and whether they see it as being relevant in today’s society. Young women who identify themselves as ‘feminists’ and those who feel it doesn’t fit into their lives are required to participate in this Honours research project.

Are you:

  • Interested in discussing what feminism means in today’s society in a non-judgmental atmosphere?
  • Able to give up an hour of your time to participate in an interview, either after exams or early in Semester 2?
  • Aged 18-25 and currently completing an undergraduate degree at Monash?
  • Interested in seeing how Honours research works?

If you answered ‘yes’ to those questions please register your interest in participating in the research.
