Pre-retirement planning in the new super world

Are you considering retirement in the near future but unsure how to make the most of your hard earned superannuation nest egg?

In 2007 superannuation legislation under went a major change which could impact your retirement plans. This seminar concentrates on pre-retirement planning, maximising retirement benefits and how to achieve your financial goals in retirement in light of these changes.

This seminar will address the following issues:

• The retirement planning process
• Pre-retirement strategies
• UniSuper pension products
• UniSuper spouse account
• What UniSuper can offer
• UniSuper's education and advisory services

This seminar may be of particular interest to staff members approaching retirement.

Please note that this seminar is being conducted at Monash University Clayton Campus, Caulfield and Gippsland campuses on the following dates as listed below:

Clayton campus
Date: Thursday, 1 May 2008

Caulfield campus
Date: Wednesday 14 May 2008
Time: 4.15pm to 5.15pm
Venue: Lecture theatre H1.25, Level 1, Building H

Gippsland campus
Date: Thursday, 15 May 2008
Time: 1 to 2 pm
Venue: Building 2 W 272 Crofton Hatsell Room

Registration is now essential by logging on to the UniSuper website.

Select the state of Victoria and under Monash University seminars select the name of the seminar. There is no cost to attend this seminar.

Registration closed on Wednesy, 30 April 2008 for the Clayton campus seminar. It closes on Tuesday, 13 May 2008 for the Caulfield campus seminar and Wednesday, 14 May 2008 for the Gippsland campus seminar.
