Comparing opposite-sex friendships with other relationshipsPublished: 14 May 2008 Participants are sought for an online survey investigating cross-sex friendships (friends of the opposite sex) and how they compare with same-sex friendships and romantic relationships, especially in relation to attachment and mating strategies. To participate in this study you need to be heterosexual, 18 years or older, and have an opposite-sex friend who is not an ex-romantic partner or family member, and more than an acquaintance. You also need to have a current romantic partner and a friend of the same-sex. Online surveys take approximately 45 minutes to complete. All participants can go in the draw to win one of four $50 prize vouchers (just email the code word given to you upon completing the survey and your contact details).
