Attitudes towards mental health treatments

Published: 7 May 2008

We are investigating how cognitive style influences our attitude towards different types of treatments for depression. Cognitive style describes the way we like to solve problems and process information and is considered an integral part of our personality.

We are looking for university students to complete a questionnaire package which takes about 30 minutes. The research package contains questions about your age, gender, education and preferences and attitudes towards treatments for depression.

If you are a university student aged between 17 and 25 years and have no experience of mental health treatments we would appreciate your involvement in this project.

If you are interested in participating or finding out more, please read the explanatory statement or contact Liza Earley on liza.earley@med.monash.edu.au.
