Soweto Gospel Choir - ClaytonPublished: 30 April 2008 Andrew Kay and David Vigo present The two time Grammy Award-winning Soweto Gospel Choir returns to Australia with their new show African Spirit. Soweto Gospel Choir have won critical acclaim and performed to full houses around the world, sung alongside Robert Plant, Bono and Peter Gabriel, and have been heralded as the most exciting group to emerge in world music in recent years. Featuring incredible singers, dancers and drummers, African Spirit stirs the soul and captures the beauty and passion that is Africa. Performing a program that reflects the history of the Rainbow Nation, songs of remembrance for the past, as well as songs of joy and praise for the present and future. The Choir will take audiences on a musical journey that is both unique and inspirational.
