Published: 12 March 2008

17 March 2008, 1pm, Lecture Theatre S2

The Monash Centre for Synchrotron Science aims to support Monash researchers make best use of the Australian Synchrotron (AS) by providing advice and assistance on synchrotron techniques. At present the Australian Synchrotron has several operational beamlines, with others progressively coming online throughout 2008-9.

This seminar will provide a status update on the availability of beamlines and techniques at the Australian Synchrotron, as well as alternative overseas facilities. The seminar will also cover application procedures for the AS, including for Monash Preferred Access (Foundation Investor) beamtime. The Preferred Access beamtime is the reserved allocation for Monash researchers as a result of the University's contribution as a Foundation Investor to the initial suite of beamlines.
