14th Annual Matthew Campbell Memorial Evening

Published: 12 March 2008

Friday 11 April, 2008

6.15pm South 1 Lecture Theatre, Bldg 64, Clayton Campus

The WILDFIRE Matthew Campbell Memorial Evening (MCME) is held annually in memory of Matthew, a medical student who died tragically in a car accident in his second year, but who was passionate about and active in promoting Indigenous health. As such, the event aims to not only commemorate Matthew but inform and inspire Monash medicine and allied health students and staff about Indigenous health issues.

This year's evening will have the theme of: "Strong Foundations, Strong Future: sharing stories about Indigenous child health". Speakers will share stories on their various experiences in and opinions on child health in remote Indigenous communities as well as in urban settings.
