Heart and Mind: Psychogenic Cardiovascular Disease

The Baker Heart Research Institute, together with Monash University is proud to announce the inaugural "Heart and Mind" conference, to be held in Prato, Italy, September 3-5, 2008. The Baker Heart Research Institute is Australia’s highest profile and most productive cardiovascular research institute.

The conference will focus on the link between psychological medicine and cardiovascular disease, delineating the relationship between stress, mental illness and the development and course of heart disease and hypertension. The conference will include addresses by international leaders in the field.
