Seminar: Science education for everyday life: relevance in school science - Clayton

Emeritus Professor Glen Aikenhead from the University of Saskatchewan will discuss various aspects of school science policy from a humanistic perspective. The seminar will look at some major failures of the traditional science curriculum; a person’s success in learning and using science in non-school context; the relevance of the curriculum content; and the processes for formulating science curriculum policy.
