Emotions Project

Published: 14 November 2007

Children aged 9 - 12 years are being sought for a research study investigating emotional development and wellbeing in children.

The study aims to find out how well children understand and control their emotions, how emotions relate to children's wellbeing, and how children's emotions develop over time.

Children will be asked to complete a written survey (40-60 minutes) at home once a year for three years. Families will receive a $15 Coles Myer voucher for each year their child participates.

If you are a parent/guardian of a 9 to 12 year-old and would be interesting in having them take part, please contact Libby Hughes on +61 3 9905 3149 or emotions.project.psychology@med.monash.edu.au for further information. Alternatively, you can download an information pack at the Emotions Project website.
