Monash University Events Management Office -- Expressions of Interest 2008

Monash University Events Management Office (EMO) is currently taking expressions of interest for conferences and events in 2008.

EMO specialises in all aspects of the organisation, co-ordination and management of academic and educational events internal and external to Monash University, including its overseas campuses and centres at Malaysia, South Africa and Prato, Italy. Services include, but are not limited to: sponsorship; sourcing venues; creation of a facility for receipt of online and hardcopy registrations; accommodation bookings; arrangements for exhibitors; development of conference website; providing facility for accessing papers via its individual conference website; organising and co-ordinating catering; and co-ordination of conference CDs and satchels.

With over 30 years experience, EMO provides professional service to its clients in delivering outstanding international and national events. EMO is dedicated to developing and strengthening its client relationships in the organisation of conferences and events. EMO's clients include: Office of the Vice-Chancellor, Monash University; Monash Sunway Campus, Malaysia; VicRoads; Department of Infrastructure; Monash University Accident Research Centre; and Monash Institute for the Study of Global Movements.

Among the current events being co-ordinated by EMO are: Opening of the Monash University Malaysia Campus (3 September 2007); International Metropolis 2007 Conference (8-12 October); AAAM Conference (14-17 October, 2007); International Practice Development Conference (31 October-2 November 2007); Supply Chain Management and Information Systems Conference (9-12 December 2007).
