Come and celebrate the 2006 Commonwealth Games in the city15 March 2006 To raise the profile of Monash University in the international market and take advantage of the many visitors to Melbourne over the coming weeks, the university is hosting a three-day promotional event in the CBD during the Commonwealth Games. On each day Monash will be hosting different activities and events to highlight the Monash advantage. Many faculties will be showcasing their work including: a postgraduate art display, blood pressure testing, interactive mind games, jazz band, trampoline exhibition and more. The Australian Karate Champion Leon Romary will demonstrate the Karate Action Replay System, which has been developed by a Monash graduate. Expert advisers will also be on-hand providing guidance and information to students considering studying at Monash.
