International Women's Day lunch -- Caulfield

When: Wednesday, 8 March 2006 (12 noon - 2 pm)
Where: Peter Lawrence Room, Heath Function Centre, Melbourne Racing Club (Caulfield Racecourse)
Cost: $30 per person, includes two-course meal with tea, coffee and chocolates. All drinks included.
Speaker: Dr Janine Burke

Dr Burke is the award-winning author of 15 books of art history, biography and fiction. She has completed a series of acclaimed books on the Heide circle that includes Dear Sun: The Letters of Joy Hester and Sunday Reed, as well as biographies of Joy Hester, Albert Tucker and, most recently, The Heart Garden: Sunday Reed and Heide. Her book on Sigmund Freud's art collection, titled Freud's Toys will be published in October. Janine is a research associate of Monash University .
