Ms Raschke's illustrated talk will give you an insight into the amazing food habits of the East African communities, their cultures and food taboos. She has just returned from fieldwork in East Africa. Ms Raschke's PhD project will evaluate people's knowledge on African food habits and it will provide a reference point for future research. In order to promote the benefits of traditional African food habits any links between food habits and health are going to be explored.
