Election to Council of one professorial staff member

Three nominations were received for the election to Council of one professorial staff member and a ballot was held. Following the counting of primary votes and the distribution of preferences, one candidate received an absolute majority. Accordingly, Professor Susan Davis is elected as the professorial staff member of Council.

Election to Council of one general staff member

Three nominations were received for the election to Council of one general staff member and a ballot was held. Following the counting of primary votes, one candidate received an absolute majority. Accordingly, Mr Joshua Beggs is elected as the general staff member of Council.

Professor Davis and Mr Beggs will hold office from 1 January 2006 to 31 December 2007.
