Bureau of Animal Welfare Annual Return

The 2005 Bureau of Animal Welfare (BAW) Annual Return spreadsheet and explanatory document are available at www.monash.edu.au/research/ethics/animal/approval/annual.html.

- All animal use for scientific purposes must be reported in the BAW Return

- All specified animals (including rats, mice, guinea pigs, rabbits) that have been bred and/or held in 2005 must be reported in the BAW Return.

Time frame:

The BAW spreadsheet must be completed and returned to your Animal Ethics Committee (AEC) secretary by the end of January. Please contact your AEC for their deadlines and other requirements.
