2006 Art of Administration in Tertiary Education Victoria Branch conference

The executive committee of the Association for Tertiary Education Management is made up of volunteers from a number of Melbourne based institutions including Monash University, the University of Melbourne, Victoria University, Swinburne University of Technology and RMIT.

The theme of the conference will be of great interest to university administrators, and provides the opportunity for administrative staff to participate either through presenting or attending a conference relevant to their role.

The Art of Administration in Tertiary Education: Current challenges

This one day conference will focus on identifying and exploring the emerging trends and current challenges in educational administration and their implications for managers and administrators of tertiary institutions. Papers and discussion at the conference will be broad ranging as administrators share best practice in a range of specialist administration areas.

The call for papers is now open and proposals can be submitted at www.atem.org.au/conferences_vic2006.cfm.

Paper submissions will be accepted until Friday 16 December 2005.
