CORE obesity research seminar

The Monash Centre for Obesity Research and Education (CORE) is hosting a 'CORE Obesity Research Seminar'. This event provides the opportunity to listen to the insights of a renowned obesity researcher.

When: Thursday 17 November, 6 pm
Where: Monash Medical School building lecture theatre, Alfred Hospital

Our guest speaker is Professor Joseph Proietto from The Sir Edward Dunlop Medical Research Foundation. He is also Professor of Medicine at the University of Melbourne; head of the Weight Control Clinic, Austin Health; and chair of the Program Organising Committee, 10th International Congress of Obesity 2006.

Topic - 'Obesity: The role of genes in cause and cure'.

The 'CORE seminar series' serves to keep the professional community up-to-date with the current issues and research relating to obesity. This is an open invitation to any person with an interest in the field. We encourage you to mention these seminars to colleagues.
