Translation Studies Research Cluster conference

This conference is organised by the Translation Studies Research Cluster of the School of Languages , Cultures and Linguistics.

"Translation and / as Culture"

When: Friday 11 November and Saturday 12 November, 9 am to 5 pm
Where: Bayview Conference Centre, 1-19 Bayview Avenue , Clayton
Cost: $80 full, $40 concession

Guest speakers include Dr Vrasidas Karalis (University of Sydney, translator of Patrick White into Greek), Dr Simon Patton (University of Queensland, translator of contemporary Chinese poetry), Dr Andrew Riemer (chief fiction reviewer of the Sydney Morning Herald, translator of contemporary French fiction), and Ms Olya Booyar (Community Relations Executive, SBS Television).
