Election of staff members of Monash University Council12 October 2005 Elections to Council In accordance with Monash University Statutes 9.1 and 9.2, nomination of candidates for the election of one professorial and one general staff member to Council are invited. Professors Those eligible to stand for election are members of the teaching staff of the University appointed by the Council with the rank of professor, other than a non-teaching professor, an associate professor, a clinical associate professor, an emeritus professor, a visiting professor, an honorary professor or an adjunct professor. General Staff Those eligible to stand for election are members of the general staff, holding either a full-time appointment or a fractional appointment of not less than 0.4 and must have held that appointment for a period of more than six months. The members elected will hold office from 1 January 2006 to 31 December 2007.
