School of Information Technology Seminar5 October 2005 You are cordially invited by the Caulfield School of Information Technology to a morning seminar. 'Digital songlines: capturing the cultural heritage of indigenous Australia', by Mr Brett Leavy, CEO of Cyberdreaming, a multimedia company collaborating with the Australasian CRC for Interaction Design, QUT, Brisbane. When: Wednesday 12 October, 10 -- 11:30 am Brett will describe and demonstrate his multi-user 3D virtual heritage environment. Of interest to software and multimedia design, history, information management, archivistics, knowledge management, Indigenous studies, sociology, anthropology, linguistics, art and design, performing arts, Brett's presentation will evaluate the software toolkit of protocols, methodologies and a facility for the collecting and sharing of Indigenous cultural heritage.
