Participants sought for music psychology study14 September 2005 Do you like listening to music? Do you think it improves your cognitive abilities? Volunteers aged between 18 - 45 years of age with no known hearing impairment are required for a study investigating whether listening to music can enhance your memory. The study is being supervised by Dr Samia Toukhsati, Psychology Department, School of Psychology, Psychiatry and Psychological Medicine. Participants will be asked to complete two memory tasks and some questionnaires relating to mood, physiological state and demographic details. Testing is conducted in groups and the session takes about 45 minutes. Data will remain anonymous. Sessions will be conducted at both Clayton and Caulfield campuses during lunch time.
