Department of Marketing breakfast seminar7 September 2005 'Cross selling: Finding the right product for the right customer at the right time using analytical CRM', presented by the world-renowned Professor Wagner Kamakura, Ford Motor Company Professor of Global Marketing, Duke University, US. We've being trying to work out ways of getting the right product to the right customer at the right time for decades, but it's a lot easier to state this as a textbook goal than it has been to achieve it in practice, and horrifying amounts of money and time have been wasted in the process. Professor Kamakura is a member of the editorial boards of the Journal of Marketing Research, International Journal of Research in Marketing, Journal of Retailing, and Marketing Science. His current research interests are in market segmentation and market structure, database marketing, and the modelling of customer satisfaction, retention and profitability.
