'Einstein's Lighthouse - The Australian Synchrotron' free public lecture series

Seven of Monash Science's top researchers will enlighten you on then exciting and rewarding use of the synchrotron in their research.

These free lectures will be taking place:

When: 7.30 - 8.30 pm
Where: South One Lecture Theatre, building 64, Clayton campus

  • 17th August - 'Nature's synchrotrons: super massive galactic black holes' by Dr Rosemary Mardling
  • 24th August - 'Dr Einstein: the synchrotron in medicine' by Dr Karen Siu
  • 31st August - 'Einstein, Pythagoras and dead stars' by Dr Leo Brewin
  • 7th September - 'Einstein's microscope: illuminating billion-year old rocks' by Dr Andy Wilde
  • 14th September - 'Synchrotrons decoding the chemistry of life' by Prof Don McNaughton, Dr Bayden Wood and Dr Philip Heraud.
