Ancora Imparo
In this month's Ancora Imparo, Vice-Chancellor Richard Larkins discusses the impact of the bushfires upon the Monash community. One staff member and one student lost their lives, others lost friends and relatives. But Monash performed its hosting duties well in Gippsland, and we saw our pioneering work in Indonesia rewarded with a return visit of Indonesian experts on disaster victim identification.

In this week's 60 seconds with ... we meet Jue (Grace) Xie, a PhD student in the Faculty of Information Technology. Jue has recently received an internship under the EII-Microsoft Research Asia (MSRA) Internship program that will see her spend up to six months conducting research in Beijing.
