University Solicitor "downsizes"
Over 130 colleagues and friends of Mr Renn Wortley gathered at the University Club last Thursday to formally mark his stepping down from the position of University Solicitor after 24 years at the helm.

Melbourne APEC Finance Centre (MAFC) at Monash University hosted a delegation from China's banks and regulatory agencies recently for a discussion of the challenges in implementing the international banking accord Basel II.

Peak electricity demand determined by forecasting model
Electricity demand during peak times can now be more accurately forecast with advanced mathematical modelling, developed by Professor Rob Hyndman from the Business and Economic Forecasting Unit.

     
 

Vice-Chancellor thanks BusEco administrators
The Vice-Chancellor, Professor Richard Larkins has expressed his appreciation for the work done by the Faculty of Business and Economics student services and timetabling administrators who recently had to process more than 250 applications for late enrolment for this semester.
