Monash two make (poverty) history
Two Monash students were instrumental in organising the Make Poverty History concert, held last week at the Sidney Myer Music Bowl in Melbourne.

     
 

Ministers visit Gippsland medical school
The Federal Minister for Health and Ageing Mr Tony Abbott and the Federal Minister for Gippsland Mr Peter McGauran last week visited the Gippsland campus to review progress on the Gippsland Medical School.

University Blues storm into Australian Volleyball League Finals
The University Blues women's team have defeated Canberra Heat and Western Australia to grab a finals berth in their inaugural season in the Australian Volleyball League.

     
 

Croc Festival sends positive messages about health careers
Monash University was well represented at last month's Croc Festival, a three-day event of cultural, sporting and health-related activities for Indigenous and non-Indigenous students, where staff and students promoted careers in health.

A sticky start to Monash end-of-year student exhibitions
Sculptures made from toffee, exquisite mushroom ornaments made from blown glass and the work of a student who draws while blindfolded all feature in the end-of-year exhibition from graduating students of Monash University's Faculty of Art and Design.
